Our First Brace Face
Maci is our first child (except for Lindsay who got them after she was married and has them now) to have braces. She has several problem teeth, one of which has not emerged. We're hoping that comes through very soon. If not, it could get nasty. Anyway, our trip to the orthodontist was quick and painless for Doug and I but Maci is suffering a little bit. She was even having trouble eating scrambled eggs this morning. Maybe that's what I need to do in order to lose some weight. That would be my only hope, because if I CAN eat, I DO. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures to commemorate the occasion.

Aw, she looks cute with the braces! They look like the glow-in-the-dark kind. That would be cool. Congratulations, Maci!
Welcome to the club! I don't even remember them putting that awful thing in my mouth...I'm sure they had to though! Ouch!
She's the cutest brace face ever! Fun times! It'll all be worth it! ( I think all four of mine are going to need them...$$$$)
