Christmas 2008

We had such a great Christmas. Lots of fun times and lots of memories for the future. There was not a dull moment the whole time. Lots of wrapping presents (Doug did most of that, which makes me the luckiest person alive), cooking, eating, (including our traditional Shish Kabobs on Christmas Eve), laughter, and just having a good time enjoying each other. Our granddaughter, Gwen, was, of course, the center of attention most of the time because, after all, aren't children what makes Christmas fun?

Game playing (Ronnie & Linz's new Wii and our new dart board ,etc.)

We were disappointed that Nathan and Rebecca couldn't come for Christmas Day, but they came for a few days after Christmas.

And our Christmas phone call with Brendan from Brazil was the crowning gift for all of us.

MMM I love shish kabobs. Sounds like a wonderful Christmas. It is so good to have family around. Christmas without family is sooo hard. I am sure my parents would agree that grandchildren are such a highlight in our lives and the funnest part of Christmas. Have a Happy New Year!

How fun, to see everyone enjoying these treasured Christmas moments. Sounds like you guys had a great time! So glad I am able to see what you and your family are up to. How great that you got to talk to your missionary, too. Those phone calls just make the day. Have a great New Year!

Hey...how did you get that picture of Bren? Send it to me! Also, let me know next time you're going to post embarrassing pictures of me on the internet! I hadn't showered yet or anything :(

We're glad Christmas was so great. It was fun to see Nathan and his fiance Rebecca together. We are wondering when the wedding is. And also, Gwen is so big! She was just a baby when we were at Lindsay's wedding. I'm sure you're happy grandparents! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
