52 Blessings #3

As I was thinking about which blessing to post this week, I thought about how much I love my home. As most of you know, we have moved around a lot and have lived in many houses. Most of them were nice homes but I usually had to settle in one area or another. This home is the oldest one we have ever lived in, built in 1953, and we are only the 3rd owners. But I must say that I really love this home. It has character, has been well taken care of, has been updated and repaired when needed, and is spacious enough for all of our family to come home and be comfortable. I didn't have to settle for anything with this home. Doug was actually the one to settle this time. He didn't get a big workshop like he wanted but we get by by using the garage like we have many times in the past. I braved 5 degree temperatures to go out this morning and take a few pictures of our house. You can also see the results of our latest snow storm.
