Hi all,
I'm sitting in a hotel room in Boise with a few minutes to spare. Doug brought me with him to the state student council convention. We have 15 students with us. We also have 8 students from Grace and 8 students from Malad. We all rode together on the same bus and I think it is good for the students to associate with those that they normally play against on the sports floors. They are all getting along great. We had a busy day at the convention but tonight they are all at a dance. Luckily for me, one girl wanted to stay behind and SOMEONE had to stay with her. I quickly volunteered. My ears are still ringing from the noise today. These high school kids have more energy than I could muster in a year. But it is good to see their spirit.
I spent the last couple of hours watching Salmon's football team beat Shelley for the first time this season and win the semifinals in their division. Now they go to state next weekend. Good for them. It's hard to imagine that the boys who are playing were in elementary school when I knew them. How time flies.
I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving. All of my kids are going to be at our house and it is always a madhouse--but a happy madhouse.
Have I mentioned that Nathan is engaged? He is marrying Rebecca Simmons. They will be getting married in the Idaho Falls temple on March 21st. She's a great girl and will fit into our family really nicely. We're all very excited for Nathan and think he has great taste. Someday when I figure out how to post pictures, this blog will be a lot more interesting.

Hey, it's good to see you have a blog. I enjoy being able to keep up with everything that's going on with family and friends. Congrats to Nathan! He picked a good day to get married 3-2-1 easy to remember and also Matthew's birthday, but Logan probably already told you that. Well, it'll be fun to keep up on all your news, take care!
Wow! I'm so excited for Salmon! I saw them on the news last night...who knew!
