A Great Thanksgiving Week

It is always such a great time when all of our family get together. Logan and Rachelle came with Gwen, of course, on Sunday evening. It's so fun when they can come and spend some time and not have to rush right back. The first order of the day was to cut Logan's hair so he wouldn't have to tuck it behind his ears in order to go to school. Then later on, I cut Gwen's hair as best as I could. It's not an easy task, with her being so active. I started by setting her in the bathroom sink and giving her something to play with. Unfortunately, she found some other things to play with (like Nathan's toothbrush, which she licked) but no harm was done.

Lindsay and Ronnie brought Nathan and Rebecca with them. It is such a kick to have them all home at once. They love to play games and enjoy each others' company. Something is going on all the time. Many of them took advantage of our new disc golf course here in town. I wasn't one of them, so I didn't get any pictures, but they obviously had a good time.


We had Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday since everyone had to leave to go home on Thanksgiving Day. It was a typical dinner with all the trimmings. The best (or worst) part, depending on whether you're looking at it from a dieting point of view or from a sweet tooth point of view, were the pies. I couldn't decide which kind to make, so I made them all--7 altogether.

After everyone left, we put up our Christmas tree in preparation for Maci and Emmi to decorate it on Friday while Doug and I went to Pocatello to do some Christmas shopping. What a day! It was a lot of fun but exhausting!
