I don't have an excuse in the world to be so negligent about blogging. And especially about not posting a tribute to Doug on his birthday, almost 3 weeks ago! But he knows how much we all love him. We had to tease him about the picture. Emmi gave him a 6-pack of his favorite pop. It's Henry Weinhart's Vanilla Creme Soda but it looks like a beer bottle. In the other hand he holds the new LDS edition of the Spanish Bible. He carries his Spanish scriptures to church every Sunday. He has even been known to read out loud in a class, translating from his Spanish scriptures. Anyway, we teased him that he had a Bible in one hand and beer in the other.
