Can You See Me Now?
Emma-Leigh finally got her wish and got contacts this week. She has been begging for some time but with my stubborn nature, I have been resisting. However, I decided last volleyball season that she was right and needed them because her glasses got knocked off several times and cut her face. She is still getting used to putting them in, but already likes them more than glasses. She still pushes up her nonexistant glasses from force of habit. But she says it feels so weird to be able to see without glasses on her face.

Ahh, yes wonderful contacts, I remember getting used to putting them in it's a little tricky in the beginning. Now I am longing for the day when I can afford lasik. What would it be like to be able to see right when I wake up, see in the shower, put on makeup without my contacts in? That is, if I'm brave enough to have someone do that to my eyes....
Happy Day for Emma-Leigh! I bet she looks great with contacts because she looked great with glasses.
